About Me

Hi, I'm Jay-Lah

I'm a big fan of good laughs, thoughtful questions and well-made design. I've learned that makes for a happy heart. And, I've found that God speaks loudest in the quiet corners of creativity. Life moves fast, but your soul wasn't made to rush — and you really don't need a studio full of supplies or hours of free time to make something. Most days, you just need five minutes and a heart ready to rest. Pause. Pray. Create. — that's the whole philosophy behind everything I make.

That philosophy is what built ArtInScienceDesigns — simple, pretty things for your home, your family, and your everyday celebrations. You'll find it all in my Etsy shop. Retail or boutique buyers can get our items for wholesale on Faire.com.

Where to find my writing

Right here in this blog is where I share the recipes, reflections, and behind-the-scenes of what I'm designing. Beyond this , I write for a couple of Medium publications, and I own one myself:

• I write for The Productivity Spot
• I write for Mustard Seed Sentinel
• I own and edit The Owner Operators' Journal

You can also find all of my Medium writing in one place at my Medium profile.
