Something To Celebrate: A Two-Line Message That Said Enough

This week, a customer sent a message through Etsy that stopped me for a second: "The (FAMU) shirt is perfect! thanks!" Short, simple, and exactly the kind of thing I needed to read. Someone ordered a shirt for their school, it arrived, and it was right. That's the whole story.
I think about how much quiet work sits behind a moment like that — the measuring, the printing, the packaging, the hoping it gets there in one piece and actually looks the way it did on the screen. Most of that work nobody sees. But every once in a while, a two-line message lands in your inbox and you realize the invisible stuff added up to something. A person is wearing their school's colors and they're happy. That's worth pausing on.
Whenever something like this happens, my instinct is always the same — find a little something to mark it.
