Something To Celebrate: Changing Course Without Quitting

Changing Course Without Quitting

My most-published blog series was also my least-read one. I could have just let it quietly fade out — skipped a week, then another, then never mentioned it again. Instead I changed how I write it, and kept going.

There's something worth noticing in that. The easy move when something isn't landing is to assume the whole thing was a bad idea. But sometimes the idea is fine and the approach just needs adjusting. Staying with something long enough to figure out the difference — that feels like its own small act of faithfulness.

Whenever something like this happens, my instinct is always the same — find a little something to mark it.
