Something To Celebrate: World UFO Day

Happy World UFO Day! Yes, today, July 2nd, is dedicated to all things unidentified flying. It’s a day rooted in the infamous 1947 Roswell incident, a moment that’s kept our eyes (and imaginations) firmly fixed on the sky ever since.

Now, I'm not suggesting we all grab our tin foil hats and start scanning the clouds for little green men (unless that's your vibe, no judgment!). But there's something quietly wonderful about the idea of the unknown, isn't there? It reminds us that even when our days feel thoroughly terrestrial – full of spreadsheets, laundry, and making an extra cup of tea – there's still a vast, mysterious universe patiently waiting just beyond our visible horizon. Or perhaps, just beyond the neighbor's roofline.

It’s a lovely reminder that even on the most ordinary of days, there’s always something to celebrate, something to wonder about, something that nudges us to look up, metaphorically or literally.

So, whether you're a believer, a skeptic, or just someone who appreciates a good mystery, take a moment today. Gaze at the sky, ponder the infinite, or simply enjoy the quiet comfort of your own corner of the cosmos. Just maybe keep an ear out for any strange hums. You know, just in case.
