Something To Celebrate: National Superhero Day

Happy National Superhero Day! Did you know this annual celebration, held on April 28th, was actually started by Marvel employees? Which, frankly, makes perfect sense. Who else would understand the profound importance of extraordinary abilities and caped crusaders?
Of course, most of us aren't out there deflecting laser beams or lifting cars with one hand. Our daily heroism tends to be a bit more... subtle. It’s remembering to restock the coffee filters, finding that specific spreadsheet nobody else can locate, or expertly navigating a crowded supermarket without making awkward eye contact. These are the quiet victories, the unsung saves, the truly impressive feats of adulting.
And you know what? There's always something to celebrate. Today, let's give a quiet nod to those everyday heroes – the ones who bring you a cup of tea when you're overwhelmed, the ones who patiently explain how to attach a file for the tenth time, or even just the ones who consistently manage to keep their houseplants alive. You don't need a dramatic origin story to be a pillar of awesome.
So, whether you're battling the laundry monster, tackling a mountain of emails, or simply recharging your personal force field with a good book, take a moment. Appreciate the quiet heroism in yourself and those around you. Go forth and be subtly amazing, one perfectly brewed cup of tea at a time.
