Happy Global Recycling Day! Ever heard of it? It pops up every March 18th to remind us that our old stuff can have a pretty cool second act.

For those of us who find a certain zen in flattening a cardboard box or perfectly separating plastic from paper, today feels like our annual unspoken cheer. It’s not always glamorous, this dance with our discarded items, but it’s definitely a thing we do.

And you know what? There's always something to celebrate. Maybe it's the fact that your local recycling facility actually accepts bottle caps (a win!). Or simply acknowledging that you tried your best to put that mysterious item in the right bin. Progress, not perfection, right?

So, whether your recycling bin is a meticulously organized marvel or just a hopeful receptacle, take a moment today to appreciate the small efforts. Maybe even pat yourself on the back for that one time you rinsed out a tricky jar. Happy Global Recycling Day, everyone!
